![]() It gives 2% cashback on everything and ot works at Costco. I've been using a Wells Fargo Active Cash Visa card as my everyday card and have been pretty happy with it. I also already have the SavorOne so I can toggle between the cards to truly maximize the rewards. The card sounds pretty fantastic overall. Only other ones Ive really considered were the BOA rewards because you can juice the rate up if you have enough money with them, but I said to myself I'd never bank with BOA again (bad experiences many years ago, and got sick of their endless fees), and Fidelity (simple 2% cash back + I have all my other accounts with them). Both Venture and Venture X have no foreign transaction fees which is important for me. Earning 10x on hotels booked via capital one travel is a nice little bonus, but they dont always have the best choice, so it can be hit and miss. Its got a $395 annual fee, but they give you $100 statement credit each year + $300 in capital one travel credits, so it basically pays for itself with these benefits. ![]() Ive had my Venture for maybe going on 10 years now (?) but recently moved to VentureX due to the 100k sign on bonus they had going at the time + free Priority Pass. Whenever I've called up, their customer service is top notch and I always get through to someone quickly + disputing transacations is a breeze. I personally don't bother with transferring the rewards to travel patners to up the value of the rewards, but know they have plenty of partners to do this with if you wanted (not sure how their points conversion rates with partners compares to other cards). I like that its a simple 2% earned on everything and is easy to redeem. Im personally a big fan of my Capital One Venture/Venture X card.
